![]() ![]() ![]() Griff was a pretty great character too, he was quite a mystery throughout the novel and his story was something Bernard developed and shocked me with brilliantly. And most of all, when she was determined to protect her sister, I knew her determination. When she runs from her father I felt her terror, when she reminds herself time and time again her life will never be normal I felt her pain. She wasn't horrible but she was pretty secretive and kept to herself. She was brilliant, I loved her attitude and the way she didn't care what others though about her. The narrative was brilliant, quick, fast paced, tense and forever reflecting our sarcastic, gutsy heroine in this novel Wick Tate. Right from the beginning this book grabbed my attention. ![]() But when Tessa Way's diary shows up at Wick's doorstep with the note "find me" attached, after Tessa commits suicide by jumping off a building, Wick's life gets a whole lot more complicated.Īt first Wick doesn't want to get involved but when she realises that whoever caused Tessa to commit suicide is now after Wick's little sister, she decides to turn her hacking towards a whole new subject. ![]() Rather than fishing trips or boring movies, her dad spends time with her hacking into bank accounts and conducting other criminal activity to get by.īut for now Wick's dad is gone and she and her sister are living pretty peacefully with their new foster parents. Wick is your ordinary sarcastic teenager and she's also an insanely good hacker. ![]()
